My Honest Review of Tula

I’ve been using Tula’s Skincare line for acne for over 3 months now. I feel like that’s enough time to give an accurate and honest review of the products and their effect on my skin. During pregnancy I have been graced with some hormonal acne. It’s mostly on my cheeks but some on forehead and chin. No one likes having pimples but it’s even worse when they leave behind scars once their gone. When you’re pregnant a lot of ingredients are harmful to the baby. Always check with your doctor but anything less than 2% Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide have been proven safe. Tula acne does contain both of these products.

I was pretty skeptical from the beginning. Full disclosure: Tula reached out to me a few months ago and I was sent the products free of charge. All opinions in this post are my own though. I have seen so many influencers and celebrities raving about the products that I just thought there was no way they could really be THAT great. I started using solely Tula acne in December 2019. It took about 4-6 weeks to clear my skin up but I could truly see a difference. I was shocked! I have had one more flare up since then which is to be expected since my acne is caused by pregnancy hormones. I’m close to getting this flare up under control currently.

The steps are pretty simple which is exactly was what I was looking for considering how tired I’ve been all pregnancy. First, I use the foaming acne face wash after removing my make up if I am wearing any. I follow with the gel acne toner and add the 24/7 moisturizer once it dries. I also use the rose gold under eye stick and spot corrector only as needed. I do the same routine morning and night. None of the products have dried out or irritated my skin. They don’t have a strong fragrance at all.

Final verdict: I am overly impressed and will continue to use it. It is worth the price to me and the hype. I’m loving how my skin is looking and has cleared up. If you’re interested in Tula for yourself you can use my code PIGSFLY for 15% off your purchase.
